Weather Guide
Canada has four distinct seasons: Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
Autumn is the season where trees begin to change colors, bringing a beautiful array of different colored foliage. It also brings cooler temperatures and colder winds. The highways are covered with a beautiful array of gorgeous colored trees. Eastern Canada is famous around the world for the brilliance of the "fall foliage," and a seasonal tourist industry has grown up around the few weeks in autumn when the leaves are at their peak. |

Winter is a wonderful thing in Canada. Almost all parts of Canada are blanketed with a thick coat of sparkling snow. There are many exciting things to do in the winter season including skiing, snowboard, ice skating, and horseshoeing. |
| Spring time in Canada is seen as a time of growth, renewal, of new life (both plant and animal) being born, and of the cycle of life once again starting. Snow begins to melt, and rivers and streams swell with runoff and spring rains. Most flowering plants bloom this time of year, in a long succession beginning even when snow is still on the ground, and continuing into early summer. |
